Utopia of their dreams

In a future America dominated by the Axxon Corporation, streets are safe, unemployment is high, and everyone is provided a universal basic income to alleviate their poverty. Many spend their income on SimLife, Axxon’s seductive simulated reality utopia. Sixteen-year-old Juniper Rose spends hers in a consignment shop, buying used memories to replace the ones that were stolen from her.

Juniper has no memory of her life. Her identity has been erased. Her neural implant is brand new. One morning, Juniper discovers a memory of herself for sale. This memory, from a man who loved her, holds the key that can unlock her past and restore her former life, or unleash the forces bent on destroying Axxon and its tightly controlled world—if only she can find enough money to buy it before someone else buys it first.
